Crews met at new distant shores of Kennedy Park and at the Vallejo Marina for the first time last Saturday. For others, it was revisiting the Napa River Paddle from a few years ago. This time, it was different as we celebrated uniquely–being together to challenge the distances, to have a goal we set forth to achieve, and to enjoy each other’s company with a potluck afterward. (Perhaps, the first such occasion for over a year for many.) The energy and support of numerous club members made our paddling journey possible along the way, and with the leadership of John and Cathy working behind the scenes for such a great day on the water.
